Children’s Long Term Care
More choice and control for you and your family.
Consumer Direct Care Network Wisconsin provides financial management services for the Children’s Long-Term Support (CLTS) Program. We work together with counties to provide support for self-directed children’s services.
With self-directed services, you select, train, and manage caregivers’ schedules. We establish you as an employer and take care of paperwork, payroll, and taxes.
You may also choose an Agency with Choice or “Co-Employer” option and share the employer responsibility with us.
You have choice and control over the care you or your loved one receives, and more choice and control over the person who provides that care. Our responsibilities include:
- Facilitating caregiver background checks
- Caregiver record retention
- Processing timesheet and issuing paychecks
- Withholding and filing employer and caregiver related payroll taxes
- Ensuring workers’ compensation and unemployment coverage
- Compliance with federal and state rules and regulations
- Providing spending summaries (online access available)
